Willikies were big winners in the Mini Boys division of the Cool & Smooth Schools Basketball Competition on Wednesday when they enjoyed a 25-8 victory over Old Road.
Playing at the YMCA, Willikies were led by Randy Thomas with nine points while Malique Lee and Elijah Carty each had six points. Lemar DeSilva was the chief scorer for Old Road with six points.
There was a comfortable victory as well for Greenbay Primary as they beat Parham 24-6. Franklyn Paul led the charge for the victors with 10 points. Damian Abbott was best on show for Parham with four points.
In another contest played on Wednesday, Cedar Grove had the better of Golden Grove 12-7 with Craig Massiah sinking nine points for the winners.
Also, there was victory for Cobbs Cross over Villa Primary by a 6-3 margin. Jaquan Watts had two points for Cobbs Cross while Tyrese Bonny was on target for Golden Grove also with two points.
