St Nicholas Primary School was awarded the trophy for best school in the annual Halo Christmas Card Competition, after four of the nine top prizes were won by students of that school.

During a presentation at Government House, Katherine Woodhouse was named overall winner of the competition, which was open to all primary and secondary schools throughout the island.

St Anthony’s Secondary also exhibited exceptional performance, securing two first places (Xintong Xie and Alexander Yhap) and one second place (Abigail Adams) in separate age categories.

Villa Primary and Princess Margaret Secondary received second and third prizes (Shawntelle Jones and Amelia Bedward) for their submissions.
