Drahz KFC Old Road now sit at the bottom of the standings after suffering their second loss in two outings.

The round south team recorded their second straight loss, this time at the hands of top of the table team, Sandals INET Grenades who presently have four points.

The 2-1 defeat in the feature encounter of the double header evening on Saturday night at the Antigua Recreation Grounds (ARG) saw Grenades draw first blood with a strike from Andrus Remy in the 23rd minute.

Old Road would, however, equalise in the 50th with a goal from Armando Curuneaux, but that would not be enough for them to claim their first points of the season in the Antigua Premier League (APL) as only 14 minutes later Kieron Richards would secure Grenades’ first win of the season.

After losing 1-0 to Richie Rich Five Islands FC last week, newly promoted team, Medical Specialists Ottos Rangers earned their first three points with a 2-1 victory over Fitzroy’s Rewinding Pigotts Bullets.

Lloyd Jeremy was the man of the match as his two goals in the 54th and 60th minutes sealed the win.

Reinier Cedeira was the lone goal scorer for Bullets, hitting home in the 72nd minute by way of a penalty kick.

With this win, Rangers now sit in the 6th spot on the 10-team standings while Bullets are one place ahead in 5th.

Matches will continue this afternoon in Zone 2 of the Second Division starting at 4:20 as Young Warriors will play CPTSA Wings in Buckelys while, at 5, Belmont will face Young Lions in Old Road.

Meanwhile, in Zone 1, Urlings will host Mahico Stars at 4:20 while Freemans Village Scorpions will visit Glanvilles FC.

Also, Lion Hill will play English Harbour in Golden Grove at 5.
