No bail for murder accused

Accused murderer, Earlsfield James, was denied bail and has been remanded to prison following his first court appearance before Chief Magistrate, Joanne Walsh, on Tuesday.
He is one of three people accused of killing Kemmoy Jeffers almost two weeks ago at Fort Road.
Jeffers’ body was discovered on April 27 close to a house on Fort Road. His neck and left leg were tied.
Walsh set James’committal proceedings for June 28.
Clarence Thomas and Raeleen Whynn have also been charged with murder in relation to Jeffers’ death.
They too are on remand.
