National youth and All Saints United footballer Vashami Allen could feature for defending champions in the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) Club Champions, Central FC, if successful after a one-month trial with the Trinidad professional outfit.
Allen, who left Antigua for Trinidad two Wednesdays ago, is expected to train with the team before a decision is made, at the end of May, whether they will sign the defender for the upcoming leg of the championships.
At that juncture, Central FC will face Grenades of Antigua & Barbuda and Cibao of the Dominican Republic.
According to inside sports sources, the All Saints United defender is tipped to sign for the Club Championships and also for the new professional season in Trinidad, slated to start in August.
If successful, the player will be the second from the national youth teams to sign a professional contract after striker Javorn Stevens signed with the Seattle Sounders in January this year.
