The National Office of Disaster Services is reporting that items have been stolen from one of its shelters in Barbuda.
The shelter in question is the Sports Complex where NODS says there are nine people staying.
According to a release NODS issued on Tuesday, in addition to the missing items from the complex, batteries have also been stolen from generators for several buildings.
NODS said it reported the matter to the police.
Meanwhile, NODS says it now operates one shelter to house Barbudan residents in Antigua. This is the National Technical Training Centre at Nugent Avenue.
The majority of the 122 people, who were staying at the Nurses Hostel, have returned to Barbuda.
Thirty-three special cases are being accommodated at the NTTC, bringing the number at that shelter to 62 people.
