Cutting Edge and Sunday Runners record wins

Nabu Samuel Cutting Edge FA and Sunday Runners were victorious last week in the ongoing Myron “Percy” Phillip Invitational Football League in Golden Grove.

Cutting Edge, playing on Thursday afternoon in the lone encounter, edged out Bolans 1-0.

Keithlyn Samuel scored the winning goal for Cutting Edge to move them to the top spot on the Group A standings with 10 points.

Bolans, however, dropped to third with seven points.

Meanwhile, on Friday, Sunday Runners had the best over Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) Young Warriors by a 1-0 score-line.

Kevor Martin scored the winning goal to move them onto seven points in the second spot of the Group B seven-team standings.

Matches scheduled for Saturday afternoon, however, were not played as there was a mix up in the scheduled timing of the two matches.

Although there is no word on when those two encounters will be played, matches will continue today at 5:30 pm as Bolans will face off versus Daddy Sweet Trucking DNA Plant Nursery Barnes Funeral Home Hyaena Construction Nat Pan My Team (NPMT).
