A law firm, a dental clinic, a bar, and a restaurant, were among the businesses broken into this week, and the owners reported that the thieves took off with a range of items, mainly food and beverages.

According to a source briefed about the incident, there was a break-in at the law firm of MP Samantha Marshall and also at the dental clinic that belongs to her brother, Dr. Derrick Marshall, between 6:50pm and 8:20pm on Wednesday. The discovery was made by the firm that provides security services for the Stapleton Lane building which houses both businesses.

The thieves entered via a window and ransacked the offices from which they stole several bottles of water, Welch’s juices, and an electricity meter.

The perpetrators also damaged the surveillance cameras, a glass door, and another window apart from the one used to enter the building. No value was given for the stolen and damaged items.

Lawmen are also investigating a break-in and theft of food items and beverages from the Aghapi-Moo Restaurant on Popeshead Street. On Wednesday, between early morning and noon, the bandits forcibly entered the property and stole hundreds of dollars worth of these items along with a quantity of cash.
