Thirty pounds of marijuana were discovered among Cargo on the Air Canada flight yesterday afternoon.
The bust was executed by police and Customs officials shortly after 1 o’clock when the aircraft landed at the V.C. Bird International Airport.
The drug carries an estimated wholesale value of $149,000, police sources said.
In recent weeks the police and Customs officials, with the help of the K-9 unit’s dogs, have been intercepting drugs among cargo on arrival at the airport here.
No one was arrested in this latest bust.
