Alleged killer released from hospital

The man accused of fatally stabbing his cousin and friend on Monday night has been released from the Mount St John’s Medical Centre (MSJMC) and is now assisting police with their investigations.
Police Public Relations Officer, Inspector Frankie Thomas said 21-year-old Anthony Joseph of the Point was treated and released for injuries he sustained to the head, allegedly at the hands of now deceased Gavin “Fat Head” Edwards.
Inspector Thomas said upon being discharged from the hospital, Joseph had been questioned by police and up to late yesterday he had not been charged with any crime.
According to police reports, 25-year-old Edwards, of Yorks, was stabbed in the abdomen on Monday night and later died at MSJMC, following an alleged altercation with Joseph, which took place in Point.
