St. John’s Antigua- The cricket unit within the Ministry of Sports headed by Austin Richards Sr has announced the names of 25 young cricketers to attend training in preparation for the St Kitts Cricket Under-13 Festival in August.

The selected players are Karim A Gore, Malone Joseph, Jalen Harris, Tiquan John, Omari Morris and Jaden Frederick of All Saints Secondary School; Zidane Douglas, Hasani Athilo, Elroy Francis, Javier Spencer, and Toby Bowen of Princess Margaret Secondary.

Also included are Aldenn Benta, Vaughn Christopher, Adrian Bird, Reginald Barnes and Jonte Barnes of St Joseph’s Academy; Chad Walsh of Antigua Grammar; Shackor Floyd of Pares Secondary; Winston Russell, Sody Timothy, Lamiech McDougal, Tassiho Allen and Deshawn Mack of Clare Hall Secondary.

Rounding out the list are Leo Moody Stuart and Jonathan Fredericks of Island Academy.

All selected players are asked to attend a meeting on Friday, July 6 at 10 am at Factory Grounds. All parents are asked to take note. (By Vanroy Burnes)
