Samuel, who lives with her mother in a two-storeyed house, reportedly got her parent upset after she allegedly refused to stop knocking on the door some time close to 5 pm that day.
Prior to that, the source said the two had had an argument in the mid–morning hours.
“She get people angry all the time but people does ignore she because she pon’ drugs and she always a drink and go in and out ah hospital,” a resident said.
While the police public relations department could not confirm the incident, the resident said officers from Bolans Police Station are handling the matter and they took Samuel’s mother into custody since Friday night.
Samuel, a mother of three, is said to be in critical condition given the degree of her burns and the fact that her clothing was burnt onto some parts of her body.
