A double strike from Omar Williams propelled Ottos Rangers to victory over Glanvilles when they met in Antigua & Barbuda Football Association (ABFA) Second Division football competition on Wednesday.
The double saw Rangers to a 2-1 triumph over their opponents at Radio Range playing field as they took their tally of points to 19, keeping their chance of promotion into First Division alive.
The lone strike for Glanvilles came off the boot of Keithroy Gregg as they remain on just one point after nine rounds of matches.
Meanwhile, Grenades took their tally of points to 16 with a one-nil victory over Tryum. Jahmanie Govia netted the lone goal of the contest. Tryum remain on 11 points.
The other scheduled Second Division contest between Black Panthers and Ambassadors ended in a goalless draw at Police Recreation Grounds. Both teams move onto nine points each.
The competition continues today when Pares host John Hughes and 5P’s travel to Golden Grove. Both matches will start at 4:20 pm.
