The results are in for the Gray?s Green Community Football League that was held at King George V Ground. On Tuesday afternoon, the league organisers gave the outstanding team and players in the tournament what they deserve.
HB Heavy Duty Equipment Breakfast Pan De Corner walked away with the crown, Nut Grove grabbed second place and Manchester of Villa held down the third spot.
Most Disciplined team went to Young Warriors while Fort Road captured the Challenge Shield championship award.
Terry Roberts from Hatton Stars won the league MVP and also bagged the best defensive player token, and Errol Barnes from Nut Grove netted the Most Goals award.
Hatton Stars? Omarie Joseph was adjudged the Best Goalkeeper; Albert Barthley from Breakfast Pan De Corner secured the Best Midfielder trophy and Kevorn Brown won the Best Forward for BPDC.
Presently the organisers of the Gray?s Green Community Football League and the All Saints Football League are holding talks to schedule a champion league between both communities after carnival, which should be played on a home and away basis.
