The murder trial against co-accused Avie Howell and Kaniel Martin is expected to continue today in the High Court before the jury after the panel had been excused by presiding Judge Richard Floyd, following a request by counsel representing the accused and the Crown.

The prosecution yesterday supplied more evidence of phone records for the jury which showed murder accused Kaniel Martin was in the Jolly Harbour area at 5:06 am on July 27, 2008 which was around the time when he and co-accused Avie Howell are alleged to have killed British couple Benjamin and Dr Catherine Mullany at Cocos Hotel.

The jury in the triple murder trial against Avie Howell and Kaniel Martin yesterday heard evidence which placed the accused in the vicinity of the scene and around the time that British couple Benjamin and Dr Catherine Mullany were gunned down on July 27, 2008, at Cocos Hotel, south of the island.
