Grenada’s Prime Minister Tilman Thomas has urged regional carrier LIAT to pay its workers in that country the EC $6 million they claim as outstanding in order to prevent further “hurting” to the local economy.

LIAT has been forced to cancel several flights for yet another day, as talks regarding an industrial dispute with its Grenada employees ended in a stalemate yesterday.
