Finance and Economy Minister Harold Lovell has suggested a national referendum be used to determine whether the country should welcome the construction of a branch of the world-famous Beaches Resort in Antigua & Barbuda.

There was standing room only in the auditorium as thousands of Antiguans & Barbudans flocked to the Multipurpose Centre last night in anticipation of the arrival of the guest of honour, Minister Louis Farrakhan, the leader of the Nation of Islam.
