This weekend’s inet Caribbean Cycling Championships (CCC) will be feeling the effects of the saga surrounding retired American cyclist Lance Armstrong.

National junior cyclist Jyme Bridges Jr. dominated Sunday’s Shirley Heights Cycle Challenge when he finished atop the A Class with a time of 2:06.16.

National cyclist Jyme Bridges Jr successfully defended his title in the 2011 Inet OECS Cycling Championships on Sunday, sprinting home ahead of St Vincent & the Grenadines’ Dominique Olivier who finished second in what was a gripping sprint finish at Police Recreation Grounds.

The Antigua & Barbuda Amateur Cycling Association (ABACA) 2011 race season will officially start with a 6:15 am church service at St Andrew’s Church on Sunday, February 13, to be followed by the annual opener – The Family Fun Ride.
