Princess Cruises cancels ship call to Antigua


The fallout from Sandy for the tourism industry here has already begun. Cruise Tourism Association President Nathan Dundas says Princess Cruise Lines has cancelled the only call its Caribbean Princess ship was to make here this year.

Plans to redevelop St John’s downscaled, but still alive


The proposed US $100 million redevelopment budget for the downtown area of St John’s has been significantly reduced to somewhere in the $60 to $75 million range, according to general manager of the Antigua Pier Group, Conrad Pole.
