Police have upgraded the charge of wounding with intent to murder against the two Villa youth who allegedly stabbed the 15-year-old Nut Grove dozens of times

Two Villa youth were yesterday charged for wounding the 15-year-old Nut Grove girl, whom they allegedly stabbed over 40 times, with intent to murder her.

She was kidnapped, viciously attacked, stabbed over 40 times and left for dead in the bushes, but the strong will to survive the ordeal is what a family member of the 15-year-old victim said is keeping the Nut Grove teen alive.

Armed with guns and sniffer dogs, police swooped down on a house in the eastern suburb of St John’s yesterday morning and were seen leaving that home with a handcuffed young man whom this newspaper was later informed
