LICA head says Willett ‘innocent till proven guilty’


President of Leeward Islands Cricket Board (LICA) Gregory Shillingford said the regional body will withhold passing judgment on Nevisian and regional cricketer, Tonito Willett, who is facing drug related charges in the Trinidad courts.

Regional cricketers arrested


Nevisian and Leeward Islands cricketer, Tonito Willett, along with Runako Morton, who was born in Nevis but now plays for Trinidad & Tobago, are slated to make a court appearance in Trinidad this morning after they were reportedly caught with a quantity of marijuana on Friday night.

Austin Richards Sr is the new co-ordinator of inter-schools cricket. The official appointment came at the launch of the 2011 United Insurance Schools Cricket competition at the Ministry Headquarters on Friday, March 4.

Softball association eyes PMS grounds


Antigua & Barbuda Softball Cricket Association (ABSCA) is currently perusing a Memorandum of Understanding drafted by the Ministry of Sports that, once signed, will give the Association control of the playing field just west of Princess Margaret School (PMS).
