Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation John Maginley has played down the threat posed to LIAT by low cost carrier Redjet and said he is more concerned about competition from Caribbean Airlines.

Transportation between Montserrat and Antigua is expected to get easier after St Vincent Grenadines Air (SVG Air) was approved to operate daily scheduled commercial air services between the two islands.

Airlines flying into the VC Bird International Airport are counting their losses after Chevron fuel attendants staged a two-day sickout here for the second time in weeks, forcing aircraft to refuel elsewhere.
