The Barbuda Council has moved to end a two-day hike in the price of cooking gas, after a compromise was reached yesterday with PDV Caribe Antigua & Barbuda that administers the LPG subsidy for the sister isle.

Barbudans, as of yesterday, began paying more for LPG gas after PDV Caribe announced it would no longer subsidise the cost of transporting the commodity to the island.
