Victory in the 1948 war was a turning point in the Arab-Israeli conflict, and subsequent attempts to dislodge Israel from the Middle East also failed but the recent wave of social and political unrest that has been sweeping the Muslim world has become such an extensive socio-political tsunami, that the politico-demographic map of the area has been changed irrecoverably.

The ancient Egyptians believed that God in the form of the sun in his fiery chariot rode across the celestial dome of the sky every morning, disappeared over the edge at sunset and rose again in all of its glory after it had traversed the back of the globe during the night.
