Former head of Antigua & Barbuda Cricket Association (ABCA), Enoch Lewis, has endorsed former national and Leeward Islands player, Zorol Barthey, who replaced him as ABCA president during Monday’s elections as the right man for the job.

Despite public outcry for his removal as head of the Antigua Cricket Association (ACA) leading into Wednesday night’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and elections, clubs and members once again exercised confidence in the ability of former national cricketer, Enoch Lewis, as president of the association.

Local cricket administrator and the president of Antigua Cricket Association (ACA), Enoch Lewis, said he will be seeking another term in office when the association hosts its Annual General Meeting and elections on Wednesday.

Minister of State with responsibility for Sports Senator Winston Williams has written to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Dr Ernest Hilaire seeking his intervention “in the impasse between the Antigua & Barbuda Cricket Association and the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.”
