An educator whose career was filled with success, pride and knowledge – and that spanned more than three decades – has retired from her post as vice principal of Antigua State College (ASC).

Tributes flooded the newsroom late Wednesday and yesterday following the news that educator Lesroy Merchant passed away Wednesday evening.

The warning that the region is likely to be hit by an 8.0 earthquake is consistent with predictions made previously and they will always be there and continue to be there.
