Having been more successful at making its case for a public demonstration than the self-styled Minister of Helps, the Antigua Labour Party has received permission from Police Commissioner Vere Brown to hold its march on November 10.

Self-titled Minister of Helps, Eugene Humphreys has less than a week to appeal the police chief’s denial of today’s protest that sought to pressure government to hold a Commission of Inquiry into the fencing of sporting facilities.

Former minister of Public Works (PWD) Willmoth Daniel, whose portfolio once included the Antigua Public Utilities Authorities (APUA), said he’d welcome any probe into the running of the two during his time in those positions.
