LIAT’s Corporate Communications Manager Desmond Brown has drawn the ire of the Antigua & Barbuda Workers Union (ABWU) for his comments that trade unions had introduced new conditions in negotiations on closing ticketing offices across the region.

LIAT’s management said it’s confident that it will be able to work with unions to go ahead with the planned closure of its City Ticketing Offices (CTOs), despite a warning of region-wide industrial action if it proceeds.
