Gunmen who opened fire on 12 people in a horrific New Year’s Day drive-by shooting in 2008 have been found guilty following a two-week trial.

Constable Joseph Reid, the investigating officer who probed the shooting death of Raymond Chin, has admitted that the police made mistakes with its investigations, while at the same time acknowledging that the alleged murder weapon was never found.

High Court officials and the police will investigate allegations that relatives of one of the two men convicted of the murders of a honeymooning couple and a shopkeeper made threats after the guilty verdict, well-placed sources said.
