Athletics co-ordinator predicts competitive Inter-Schools


Co-ordinator of the Coca Cola Inter-Schools Athletics Track & Field Meet, Heather Samuel, said she has seen significant improvement in a number of athletes compared to last year and is predicting that this year’s instalment of the annual event will see fierce competition amongst the boys in particular.

CP’s plans for International Soca Monarch Competition scrapped


A broken promise means Antigua & Barbuda’s reigning Groovy Soca Monarch, Claudette ‘CP’ Peters, will not get the automatic bye she was expecting into the corresponding section for the International Soca Monarch Semi-Finals in Trinidad & Tobago on Sunday, February 13.

Unfit netball courts force delay of competition


The 2011 Inter-Schools Netball Competition has been pushed back to a later date according to co-ordinator Joyce O’Donoghue who told OBSERVER Sports that the opening date was originally set for January 13.
