Ten long hours. That was the time it took a 12-member jury to convict Avie Howell and Kaniel Martin for murdering British couple Benjamin and Dr Catherine Mullany and Jamaican shopkeeper Woneta Anderson.

The murder trial against co-accused Avie Howell and Kaniel Martin is expected to continue today in the High Court before the jury after the panel had been excused by presiding Judge Richard Floyd, following a request by counsel representing the accused and the Crown.
