Head Coach of A&R Smitty FC St Clair “Nashie” Christian said not scoring goals and not playing as a unit was his team’s downfall in the 2010/11 Antigua & Barbuda Football Association OBSERVER Media Group Digicel Premier Division season.

He remained optimistic for as long as he could, but following his team’s 4-0 loss to Champion Footwear Greenbay Hoppers on Saturday, coach of the A&R Smitty FC, St Clair “Nashie” Christian, is ready to admit defeat and build once more from First Division.

Staring relegation dead in the eyes at the bottom of the table with seven points from 11 matches, and still to meet three of the top four teams in the competition, all would by now, have written off A&R Smitty as a sure candidate for relegation from the Digicel and OBSERVER Media Group Premier Division football competition – well, all but one.
