Two veteran educators have expressed deep regrets that after eight years, the Learning Resource Centre at the Antigua State College (ASC) remains incomplete.

Principal of Princess Margaret Secondary School (PMS), Colin Greene, said he had anticipated a much tougher challenge, particularly in the female division of the Coca Cola-sponsored Inter-Schools Track & Field Meet held at YASCO Sports Complex over the weekend in which PMS emerged victors in both the male and female categories.

Employees at Antigua & Barbuda International Institute of Technology (ABIIT) have conceded that the Ministry of Education is now calling the shots and have decided to abandon protest over the ministry’s decision to quash a co-operation deal with University College of the Caribbean (UCC).
