Air Passenger Duty banding remains, region disappointed


The UK government’s decision not to restructure the banding aspect of its controversial Air Passenger Duty (APD) has been described as a “slap in the face” by Chairman of the Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO) Ricky Skerritt.

Report warns Air Passenger Duty harmful for UK economy


A report recently done for the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) has concluded that the UK’s Air Passenger Duty or APD, which Antigua & Barbuda’s government sternly opposes, is bad for the UK economy.
