ST JOHN’S, Antigua – Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a murder suspect who escaped custody yesterday afternoon.

Kenroy Marshall, who has been a person of interest in the murder of two Dominicans, ran from police as officers were escorting him off a flight from Montserrat, where he had just been located. He is described as tall, dark and slim.

Head of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Superintendent Nuffield Burnette said Marshall is considered armed and dangerous until proven otherwise.

“If seen person should not approach him carelessly,” he said. “What we foremost want to do is to warn the general public that this man is on the loose, he should be wearing a handcuff on one hand.”

The suspect reportedly eluded Montserratian police officers, who were transporting him to Antigua from the Emerald Isle.

Officials there had apprehended two persons of interest in the October double homicide of Dermouth Alix Riviere and Alwin “DJ Bullet” Robin.

Two Montserrat police officers accompanied Marshall and the other suspect on SVG airline flight 204, which arrived at the VC Bird International Airport at 1:12 pm on Sunday.

The suspect had earlier been nabbed by authorities in Montserrat on Friday, police confirmed.

The same man got away from local police when they attempted to apprehend him at his Jennings residence last weekend. He reportedly escaped then by fleeing into nearby bushes.

Burnette is appealing to the public to call his number, 764-2285, or the CID at 462-3913 if they have any information about Marshall.
