ST JOHN’S, Antigua – Andrea Stoelker is no longer managing the interest of R Allen Stanford in his Stanford Development Company, SDC.
That’s because the jailed financier has revoked the power of attorney he’d given to Stoelker, his fiancé.
Attorney General Justin Simon has confirmed the revocation but has not commented further.
Another source would only describe the situation as complicated.
Consultations are now expected on the company’s future.
Former SDC employees, represented by attorney Cosbert Cumberbatch, are said to be watching this latest development with keen interest.
They have been demanding payment of severance since the closure of the properties nearly three years ago.
