ST JOHN’S, Antigua – Police are investigating a report of a shooting which took place in Villa that left a family running for cover after gunshots were heard outside their house.

The alleged incident took place around 2:30 pm Saturday while a woman and her two daughters were sitting on their gallery.

It was reported that two vehicles pulled up alongside each other just outside her home, and within 10 minutes, the occupants began firing shots at each other.

It was further reported that during the incident a bullet struck the window of the woman’s house and caused damage.

No one was reportedly injured in the incident. Both vehicles later sped away from the scene in opposite directions.
