Saving Amazing Grace

July 23, 2012, St John’s Antigua – There are efforts now to save the Amazing Grace Foundation, which has catered to special needs children for 16 years.

Board Chairman Clarence Pilgrim says stories announcing an imminent closure have prompted a new upsurge in public support.

Earlier, Pilgrim told OBSERVER AM, that closure was a last resort and that the management is considering several options including scaling down operations due to a decline in financial donations.

Observer Media has been informed that the foundation’s management has already issued letters to stakeholders, including volunteers, informing them that the facility would be shut down at the end of the month.
