St. John’s Antigua: Authorities have reopened the application process for police recruits following a 63 percent failure rate of those who sat the recent entrance exam.
National Security Minister Dr Errol Cort said the decision was taken in collaboration with the Police Service Commission to ensure the best people join the police force.
Some 233 residents sat the written exams, which had three components – a general paper, a mathematics paper and an English paper.
According to the minister, applicants who passed Math and English at CXC were exempt from those two exams.
Listen To The Big Story:
Polygraph testing is expected to be used during the selection of the recruits.

As a matter of interest. I would like to see a sample of the questions asked.
Any chance that we could see some of them?
