St. John’s Antigua- Hosts Pigotts romped to a comfortable nine-wicket win over Cecil Charles Mahico in the lone game played in the Antigua Commercial Bank, American Airlines, Sir Vivian Richards Thursday League last week.
Mahico tumbled to 124 all out in 28.1 overs after being sent in to bat.
Ridley Jacobs top scored with 39, Olson Forde got 36 and Wilden “Polo” Cornwall chipped in with 20.
Rahkeem “Jimbo” Cornwall bagged three for 27, off-spinner Anthony “Butters” Lake claimed two for 15 and leg-spinner Hayden Walsh Jr captured two for 23.
Pigotts then wrapped up the match by racing to victory at 129 for one in 18.1 overs.
Ajani Fredericks hit 71 not out, Rahkeem Cornwall struck 22 not out and Kadeem Phillip made 12. Charan Ramjohn took the only wicket to fall for 11 runs.
