ST JOHN’S, Antigua – Pares hammered Rockets nine goals to nil in the Willkies Football Community League, which commenced a little over a week ago.

On Saturday, Pares had two goals each from Carrie Benjamin, and Conroy Henry, while Shamari Simon, Trevor Henry, Loine Maxim, Garel Sheppard and Ehesto Joseph all scored a goal each for Pares.

In another match played on Tuesday, Pares edged Young Parrots, 2-1.

Benjamin scored both goals for Pares, while Alickson Montoute scored for Young Parrots.

Rich Boys beat Parham 2-nil. Marlon Williams and Omarie Hazelwood scored a goal each.

In other matches played earlier, Barber Boys nipped Nat Pan My Team; Hennessey took care of West Ham, and Rich Boys beat Rangers.

The competition continues on Thursday with two matches – Rangers versus Nat Pan My Team at 5 pm and Rockets versus West Ham.

Matches are being played on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
