ST JOHN’S, Antigua – Fifty-one-year old Conrad Payne is in hospital fighting for life after being attacked on his property in Potters Sunday evening.

Police reports state that Payne and his wife were at home when he apparently went outside into another house they own in the same yard.

The woman reported to police that sometime after that, the wife went to investigate a noise coming from the house where her husband had gone.

It was then that the woman allegedly discovered her spouse had been attacked and seriously wounded. Payne sustained injuries all over his body including his head and face.

Doctors at Mount St John’s Medical Centre say the injured man is in critical but stable condition and they are hoping for the best.
