St. John’s Antigua- With companies retreating from events generally due to financial challenges, Carnival has still been able to secure sponsorship in excess of a quarter million dollars from LIME.
The telecoms company’s latest commitment came today (Friday) when Chief Executive officer Davidson Charles handed over a cheque for 190 thousand dollars to the Carnival Development Committee (CDC).
Speaking at LIME headquarters, Charles said sponsoring carnival was very important to the company as it showcases their commitment to preserving culture.

The sponsorship package is a combination of cash, Free Internet Access to facilitate live streaming of carnival shows, free wi-fi and free airtime on cellular phones.
Lime is also the exclusive sponsors of the LIME Party Monarch and Soca Monarch and the Lime Junior Carnival.
CDC’s Chairman Kyode O’Marde also welcomed the first diamond sponsor of Carnival.
