Sir McLean “Short Shirt”
August 1, 2012, St John’s Antigua – Wednesday night is meant to be the last time calypso legend Sir McLean “Short Shirt” Emanuel will perform on stage.
The monarch will end a show being held at Carnival city.
Valerie Harris Pole, who chairs the committee putting on the show, says missing the opening would be a tragedy.

Before he gets on stage though, several giants in their own right will perform.
The veteran performers will be Shadow and Cro Cro from Trinidad and Hunter from Dominica.
Prince Short Shirt, Sir McLean’s grandson, will also treat the crowd.
