ST GEORGE’S, Grenada, April 23, CMC – Jamaican artiste, Leroy “junior” Russell, was fined EC$500 (US $185) after he appeared in court on Monday charged with being in possession of marijuana.
Police said that Russell, also known as Tommy Lee was arrested at the Maurice Bishop International Airport on Sunday and a marijuana joint found in his possession.
Russell, 24, was the main act at a reggae show here on Saturday.
A senior police officer said that the artiste paid the fine and would leave the island later on Monday.
