The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) and the Caribbean Community (Caricom) are among regional and international organisations being called upon to put money in a fund to compensate people who lost money in Sir Allen Stanford?s alleged fraud.
The appeal has come from the Stanford Victims Coalition (SVC), an international advocacy group dedicated to fighting for the recovery of money belonging to those affected in the Stanford debacle. They have also attempted to draw United States President Barack Obama into their efforts to secure compensation for their losses.
