BRUSSELS, CMC – Haiti will host the Music Festivals Network Africa-Caribbean-Pacific (ACP) later this month, the organisers have announced

They said that the festival from January 28-31 aims to develop the music industry festivals around the ACP partners.

It is being supported by the programme to support cultural industries funded by the European Union.

The organisers said that led by the French association, Zone Franche,  business meetings will be held in Port-au-Prince during the same period of the festival.

They said at least 40 Haitian music professionals “will gather to meet their foreign counterparts in workshops to enhance the exchange of expertise and networking or showcases presenting a variety of Haitian music.”
