An early morning shooting at a bar in Perry Bay claimed the life of a Freeman’s Village man and left another, a teenager, from Cooks New Extension in the hospital in critical condition.
Details about the shooting at Blue Lightening remain sketchy, but what is clear is that the incident occurred shortly before 3 am.
Police officers who were at the bar at the time took control of the scene, reports indicate.
Before that, patrons ducked for cover as the explosion rang out in the pre-dawn hours.
