St. John’s Antigua- Big Banana Express and Ovals lead the Antigua & Barbuda Basketball Association (ABBA) points standings in Division 1 and 2, respectively, after the last round of matches played on Monday.
In the 12-team Division 1, Express are boasting of six wins and only one loss; New Thriving Roots follow closely with five wins and a loss; Courts Outlaws are next with four wins and a loss; Hankook Flyers and Akhimo both follow with four wins and two losses each; Newfield Tapers and Baba’s Trucking Hawks have four wins and three losses each; and Yorks Crushers come next with three wins and two losses.
Baldwin Spencer Braves follow with three wins and three losses; DC Diamond Stars have a win and seven losses, while inet Ottos and Dwight Gardner Yogi Warriors sit at the bottom, each are without a victory. Ottos have suffered six defeats, while Yogi Warriors have seven losses.
Meanwhile in the 15-team Division 2, Ovals have won all six of their games so far.
They are followed by the undefeated Freetown Travelers who have four wins; Baldwin Braves II are next with five wins and a loss; Kenneth A Gomez & Sons United, Harold Lovell Rockersville and Ottos Officials are all levelled with four wins and two losses.
Spanish Heat have two wins and an equal number of losses, Police Spartans, ABBA Stars and Maginley Blue Jays all have two victories and three losses; KC Ballers and Blizzards follow with two wins and four losses each; while Leatherbacks have gained a win but also suffered two losses.
Potters Night Ballers and Rom Gut G-Block sit at the end of the table without a win in their six attempts each.
