Enforcers trounce Flyers in ABSCA 25 overs

ST JOHN’S, Antigua – Quality Boat Works Enforcers beat Female Flyers by three wickets in the Antigua & Barbuda Softball Association St John’s Cooperative Credit Union sponsored 25 overs-a-side female competition last Sunday.

Playing at Dredgers Ground, Female Flyers batted first and scored 114 for nine off their 25 overs.

Makeda Samuel hit 29, and Monique Titus, 16.

Bowling for Enforcers Gaynell O’Garro picked up three for 17, while Sasha Michael and Sharon Francis each claimed two for 15.

In reply, Quality Boat Works Enforcers tallied 116 for seven off 23.1 overs. Enrika Matthew hit 27, Michael, 29, and Christine Mills added 23.

Bowling for Flyers, Diane Anthony picked up three scalps for 18 runs and Samuel got two for 27.
